Egypt Citizenship by Investment Program: An Overview
Important Notice: Water Outage in New Cairo Areas
As part of the city's efforts to upgrade and enhance the water system, there will be a scheduled water outage in several areas of New Cairo. The Ministry of Health has announced that the water will be cut off from 7 PM on Saturday, September 14th until 7 PM on Tuesday, September 17th in the following areas:
- Rehab 2
- Dar Misr (Al Koronfel)
- Al-Lotus
- North and South Investors area
- Narges
- Gardenia (formerly known as Abu Al Houl)
- Al-Andalus
Other affected areas include the third and fourth sections of Badr City, and the Industrial Zone.
The outage is due to essential work involving the installation of an additional 500-meter pipeline connecting the main water intake station to the new Cairo water station. This step is crucial for improving water availability and quality in the future.
Recommendations:
Anyone living in these affected areas should stock up on water bottles and fill bathtubs or large containers with water in advance to ensure they have enough water for household needs during the outage.
Stay prepared and plan accordingly to avoid inconvenience.

Dream Park
Assalamu alaikum! I visited Dream Park based on a recommendation for a family-friendly amusement park with minimal music and modest atmosphere. Alhamdulillah, it was a great experience! We enjoyed the roller coasters (extra fee) and while there was some music, it wasn’t overwhelming. Perfect for older kids who love big rides. Price was 250 EGP per adult with an additional 50-60 EGP for certain rides. JazakAllahu khair to everyone who suggested it!
For Parents Sponsored by Children's Student Visas
If your children are studying in Al-Azhar and sponsoring your visa, start the visa process now by going to the school for Tasdeeq (تصديق). Delays will result in hefty late fees, and processing takes time. Don't wait for the school year to start—act now to avoid issues. This info comes from a reliable source in immigration.
